About Our Program Manager

Bob Poitras, CPCU, ARM is a property and casualty insurance broker and consultant with more than twenty-five years of experience working in the insurance industry. A former vice president of one of New York's largest provider of public entity workers compensation, Bob has specialized his practice in risk management for public entities since 1992.

Bob is a member of the Society of Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriters, a graduate of the University of Massachusetts with a bachelor's degree in economics, holds an associates degree in risk management from the Insurance Institute of America, and is currently completing a Masters Degree in Public Administration at the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy.

Bob's experience includes providing workers' compensation program management consulting and brokerage services to hundreds of New York State's local governments and not-for-profit organizations.
